Pre-Shipment Checklist

  • Clean the exterior of the vehicle to ensure an adequate inspection can be completed at pick up point.
  • Do not ship vehicle(s) with a full tank of gas, due to carrier weight restrictions.  Vehicles must have 1/4 tank of gas or less.
  • Remove all canvas and material coverings.  Camper shells, caps, canopies must be securely bolted to the bed of the truck to ensure safe shipment.
  • Prepare vehicle(s) for all climates, adding necessary antifreeze (35 degrees below Fahrenheit), coolants, transmission oil, and other fluids.
  • Maintain personal auto insurance to cover Acts of God (hail, wind, road debris).
  • Remove all loose parts, accessories and other non-permanent parts, including after market luggage racks, antennas, bicycle racks, etc.
  • Remove all low hanging items, such as spoiler and  air dam extensions.  Carrier will need a minimum of 6" of ground clearance to safely load.
  • Remove all personal items from vehicle.
